Ingredients
1 lb ground chicken
1 small onion, chopped (used vidalia)
1 small green bell pepper, chopped
14 1/2 oz can low-sodium diced tomatoes
3 Tbsp brown sugar
2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1 1/2 tsp ground cumin
1 tsp chili powder
Directions
- Brown chicken in a nonstick skillet, stirring to break into small pieces.
- Add onion and pepper to meat in skillet, cooking a few more minutes, Drain.
- Transfer meat mixture to slow cooker.
- Stir in tomatoes, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, and seasonings.
- Cover and cook until flavors are well-blended,. 2 hours on high or 4 hours on low.
- To serve, use wheat sandwich rolls (not included in calorie count).
