Weight Watchers Meatball Pizza

Reference to Emily Bites, who continues to make low fat and scrumptious foods.

4 ounces of ground uncooked turkey
A pinch of garlic powder
4 teaspoons of dried Italian breadcrumbs
2 teaspoons of grated Parmesan cheese
1 3/4 teaspoons of Italian seasoning
1/4 cup of egg substitute
2 teaspoons of skim milk
1 teaspoon olive oil
1 Boboli 12" Whole Wheat Pizza Crust (I used original)
1/2 cup pizza sauce
3/4 cup shredded Mozzarella cheese (2 percent)

Preheat oven to 450 degrees.

In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, garlic powder, Parmesan, breadcrumbs, 3/4 teaspoon of Italian seasoning, egg substitute, and milk.  Using spoon, mush all the ingredients together until well combined.  Mixture will be wet.  Roll meat into mini meatballs. (I made it into sausage).

In a large skillet, bring the olive oil over medium heat.  Add meat mixture to oil and cook until browned on all sides.  Set aside.

Spread pizza sauce evenly across the surface of pizza sauce.  Leave at least 1/2 inch around the outside.  Sprinkle meat mixture evenly over pizza, and spread Mozzarella cheese over pizza.  Finish pizza by sprinkling remaining seasoning over top.

Place pizza on oven stone or wire rack and bake 8 to 10 minutes.
