Pineapple Angel Food Cupcakes

I made this for Father's Day, for I know how much my Dad loves pineapple. We topped it off with some Lite Cool Whip. For my Weight Watcher cronies, 3 points + per cupcake.

1 box (1-step) Angel Food Cake Mix
1 large (20 oz) can crushed pineapple

Put dry cake mix in bowl (do NOT add the water as directed on the box). Add entire can of pineapple with juice. Mix carefully until all dry mix is incorporated. Pour into either a tube pan
(9 X 13) pan, or a cupcake pan with liners (makes about 36). Bake at 350 degrees for time on box (tube pan). My cupcakes took about 25 minutes. If using a pan, when sides pull away from pan, and toothpick is clean, cake is done.

You can also substitute low calorie cherry, blueberry, or lemon canned pie filling instead of pineapple.
