Buffalo Turkey Burgers


8 Weight Watcher Points Plus per serving
Add 2 Weight Watcher Points per sandwich thin (total =10)

Ingredients
1.25 lbs 93% ground turkey
2/3 cup grated carrots
1/4 cup seasoned whole wheat breadcrumbs (I used regular)
1 clove garlic, grated
1 tbsp red onion, grated (I used sweet onion)
1/4 cup Frank's Hot Sauce
salt and pepper
5 slices reduced fat cheddar cheese

Directions
In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, carrots, breadcrumbs, garlic, onion, hot sauce, salt and pepper. Makes 5 (mine made 6) equal patties.

Heat a large skillet on high heat (we cooked ours on a charcoal grill).  When hot, lightly spray the oil. Add burgers to the pan and reduce the heat to medium-low.

Cook until juices stop flowing and temperature is a good 165 degrees.  Top with cheese and place on a toasted sandwich thin.  Can serve with broccoli slaw (1 1/2 cups broccoli slaw, 1/4 cup of light blue cheese dressing).  We did not use.
