Turkey Sausage Pizza

Adapted from Meatball Pizza by Emily Bites.
Yields 6 slices

Ingredients
4 oz uncooked turkey breast
pinch of garlic powder
2 teaspoons of plain, dried breadcrumbs
2 teaspoons of grated Parmesan cheese
1 3/4 teaspoons Italian seasoning, divided
1 large egg white
2 teaspoons skim milk
Spray of non-stick spray
1 Boboli 12" Whole Wheat Pizza Crust
1/2 cup pizza sauce
3/4 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Directions
Preheat oven to 450 degrees.

In a large bowl, combine turkey breast, garlic powder, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, and 3/4 teaspoon Italian seasoning, egg white, and milk.  Using a spoon, mush all ingredients together until well-combined. Mixture will be somewhat wet.

Heat skillet over medium-heat.  Add turkey mixture to the oil and cook until browned.  (Looks like cooked hamburger or sausage mixture). Set aside.

Spread pizza sauce evenly over across the top surface, leaving at least a 1/2 inch edge around the outside.  Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese evenly over the top and spread the turkey/sausage mixture across the surface. Finish the pizza by sprinkling the remaining Italian seasoning over the top.

Place pizza on foil, on a pizza stone (used), or directly onto the oven rack.  Bake for 8 to 10 minutes.
