2 Weight Watcher Freestyle Points per serving
Ingredients
1 lb. boneless, skinless chicken breasts
2 garlic cloves, minced (2 tsps of jarred_
2 Tbsp. dried oregano
1 Tbsp. dried parsley
1 tsp. dried basil
1/2 tsp, dried thyme
1/4 tsp. celery seed
1 Tbsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. ground pepper
8 oz bottle light Italian dressing
1 cup salsa
1 green bell pepper, sliced
1 red bell pepper, sliced
1 medium onion, sliced
*Flour tortillas NOT included in points
Cut chicken into thin strips. Place in large mixing bowl.
Add garlic, herbs, sugar, salt, pepper, salad dressing, and salsa. Mi well. Add chicken, cover and marinate 4-8 hours or overnight in the fridge.
Pour chicken and marinade into slow cooker. Cook on low 2-4 hours, until chicken is white through the middle and tender.
Spoon the chicken with its sauce into an oven-proof serving dish. Add the vegetables. Slide under the broiler until browned. (I added peppers and onions to crockpot mixture, and let cook an hour).
Serve with tortillas and toppings of your choice.
