Serves 6, Serving Size 3/4 cup

Ingredients
1 lb ground turkey sausage
1 lb ground turkey, fat free
1 onion
2 tsp garlic minced
1 red bell pepper, chopped
1 green bell pepper, chopped
1 cup mushrooms, chopped
28 oz crushed tomatoes
1/4 cup tomato paste
1 tsp Italian seasoning
salt and pepper to taste
Directions
Add the sausage and turkey to a hot skillet and brown. Add the onions, mushrooms, and peppers. Saute until limp.
Stir together tomato mixture, garlic, and seasoning. Place in slow cooker. Add turkey mixture. Cook on low for four (4) hours.
