Channel 12 has interviewed us concerning Daddy's grave still not being complete, without a stone. I paid well over $15,000 to secure the lot for both of my parents, and we still wait for completion. We do not get to mourn, decorate his grave for holidays, or just visit to say hello. He died in November, and still no closure. (Our story airs Friday on Channel 12)!
We have had some great events as well. Matthew will graduate elementary school in two weeks, the beach is calling (we need family time), and we expressed our full support to a candidate running for sheriff in Goochland. I have known him all my life, and he is the epitome of a great man.
I am creating our first garden this year as well. I'm following in mom and dad's footsteps. We have almost 5 acres, so might as well use them to our benefit.
